As the title says, I’m currently sorting and uploading all the lecture slides.
People who know me know what that means, for those who don’t..
I’m currently a Physics student at the University of Manchester, and have scanned all the notes taken during those lectures.
Here’s Introduction to Nuclear and Particle Physics #1. (SEMESTER 5, YEAR3)

Alright, I’ll admit, SW:TOR was actually released yesterday, (20th December 2011), but how could I possibly have any free time to post on day 1?! (The actual answer is a LOT, what with all the hours of queueing.)
Anyway, this is me, Garrador, level 17 Sith Marauder. I will post a pretty in-depth post about my thoughts on SW:TOR so far, after I’ve had more of a chance to experience it all!

In the meantime, I’m playing on the PVP-EU Server – Tomb of Freedon Nadd. Come and join!

We have recently been blessed with another Developer Walkthrough narrated by Dallas Dickinson.
This is a low level Flashpoint, from levels 8-12.
In the video, it is clear that there is no healing being dealt out, and as all the participants of the flashpoint are around level 9, it is indicative that there is no healing abilities besides the out-of-combat revive before you choose your advanced class.
It is comical to see that, despite ability queueing, it is possible to see the players spamming the ability buttons. Nothing changes eh.
The UI looks a slick as ever, although I have yet to see where the chat-boxes will be.
Follow the link below to the youtube clip of the developer walkthrough. Be sure to watch it in HD, it’s worth it!
The video cannot be shown at the moment. Please try again later.
P.S. If you havn’t preordered, do it NOW, to get your early-game access whilst its still available!

The Free-To-Play juggernaut has claimed another victim, this time its DOTA-inspired Heroes of Newarth.
This shift in payment styles by creators S2 Games has opened the floodgates, allowing players of HoN’s rival, League of Legends to see what Heroes of Newarth has to offer.
Of course, it is almost impossible to play a F2P game on more than a casual basis without regarding the micro-transaction shops as more of a necessity than a luxury. Here is to hoping that HoN manages to avoid this “Pay-to-win” scenario.
It comes only a short matter of months after Valve released Team Fortress 2 in its Free-To-Play format, in a bit to improve its population base after a steady decline.
I cannot help but wonder what other games Value have in the pipeline to release in a F2P format.
